About Us
Swanbourne has twelve general teaching areas, an education support unit, two pre-primary teaching areas, a Kindergarten, art, music and craft room, library/resource centre, canteen, administration block, tennis/basketball courts, oval and 2.5 hectares of parks and gardens.
The school's staffing profile consists of the Principal, two Deputy Principals, Registrar and teaching staff. Non-Teaching staff include Education Assistants for Kindergarten and Pre-primary classes and an assistant for Years 1-2. Other support staff include a Defence School Transition Aide (DSTA), part-time school chaplain, Library Officer and Special Needs Education Assistants for Education Support students. A part-time School Officer also assists in the front office.
Classes range from Kindergarten to Year 7, an Education Support Unit and specialists teachers in Physical Education, Music, LOTE (Languages Other Than English) Japanese, and IT (Information Technology).
Our school staff is hard working, conscientious and aims to cater fully for the individual educational needs of the students.
