It is arguable that relevance of any school is the degree to which it can successfully prepare and equip students with the skills, knowledge and attitudes that will enable them to contribute to their community. It seems very clear that all students will need a complex array of skills to enable them to function in a world that is moving towards interdependence and connection. Success will depend on confidence and competence.
It has always been our view that the addition of any program, strategy or process should only be considered if it is clearly in the interests of the students. The school has made much progress over recent years. We have initiated unique programs that are built around the idea, that ‘it takes a village to raise a child’.
